Salome Markozia is an archaeologist and Research Scientist at the Otar Lortkipanidze Institute of Archaeology. Her research focuses on the socio-economic transformations of the South Caucasus during the Early and Middle Bronze Ages, with a particular emphasis on the Kura-Araxes cultural horizon. An active educator and editor, she collaborates with international institutions such as Harvard and the University of Melbourne to integrate bioarchaeology and genetics into the study of the Caucasian Bronze Age.
